As part of the industry engagement strategy, ALFAQ will be holding a site visit as its last event for 2013 at the Noosa Aquatic Centre on Friday 6th December from 10:00 am.
The Noosa Aquatic Centre was recognised by the pool and spa industries highest sustainability accolade at the National SPLASH Environmental Awards in 2012.
Come and see why they were judged Australia’s most sustainable Aquatic Centre in the Outdoor Commercial Pool Category.
A holistic approach to water, energy and waste saving initiatives sees the Noosa Aquatic Centre leading the industry.

- Installation of variable speed drives on circulation pumps
- Backwash water recycling
- Rain water harvesting for amenities use and pool top up
- Waste minimisation
