Beerwah and Buderim Aquatic Centre Management

Council invites tenders for the management and operation of the Buderim and Beerwah Aquatic Centres. Tenderers may submit an offer for the management of either one or both facilities.
Pre-tender site inspection details are provided in the tender documentation.
Council may award the contract in two (2) separable portions; tenderers may submit an offer for the management of either one or both facilities.
This service contract will be for an initial period of three (3) years, with the option to extend for a further two (2) by twelve (12) month periods, at Council’s sole discretion.
The Buderim Aquatic Centre is located at 44 Main Street, Buderim, and has been in operation since November 1991. The facility includes a six-lane 25m heated lap pool and a 10m heated indoor pool. The existing management agreement is due to expire on 30 June 2013.
The Beerwah Aquatic Centre is located at Roberts Road, Beerwah, and has been in operation since 1997. The facility includes a 10 lane 25m heated lap pool, a toddler leisure pool and a heated program pool. The existing management agreement is due to expire on 31 July 2013.
